First Anniversary at Pacific Lodge Aged Care Centre
Congratulations and well done to the team at Pacific Lodge Aged Care Centre who celebrated their first anniversary at the newly developed site! The team hosted a morning tea to commemorate the special occasion, which was enjoyed by residents, Sarah Harrison and Fina Kimati from the Department of Health, and Deputy Mayor Sue Heins, Councillor from Narrabeen Ward of the Northern Beaches Council. The team also celebrated service recognition of staff on the day too.
Pacific Lodge Aged Care Centre is a modern 50-bed resident and family-focused centre that offers holistic care and specialised support, such as mental health services. Each of the 50 private rooms offers en suites, desks and televisions. Also, the centre includes free-flowing communal areas, such as sunrooms, lounge rooms and television rooms.
The Ground Floor (Lyn Storey House), and the First Floor (Gatland House) were named in honour of two major donors, who made the redevelopment of Pacific Lodge possible. There is also a beautiful sensory garden for our residents, which was made possible by an additional donation from the Lyn Storey Foundation. The centre is enjoyed by residents, staff and visitors and the team look forward to what the future holds.
