Connecting With Community at the 2026 Seniors Festival Events

This March, The Salvation Army Aged Care is proud to participate in a series of Seniors Festival events across New South Wales, taking our commitment to connection, care, and community directly to the people we serve. Across six major expos and gatherings, our teams will be meeting older Australians, families, carers, and community groups to share information about our services and the support available at every stage of ageing.

We will be hosting stalls at the following events:

  • Cumberland Council Seniors Health and Wellbeing Expo – 4 March
  • Georges River Seniors Expo – 4 March
  • Fairfield City Council Seniors Festival Expo – 5 March
  • Central Coast Seniors Expo – 5 March
  • Port Macquarie Hastings Council Silver Sound Bites – 6 March
  • Blacktown Seniors Festival Concert – 12 March

At the Georges River and Central Coast events, visitors will be able to meet a range of The Salvation Army Aged Care staff who work across multiple services—from residential care to community and lifestyle programs. These teams will be available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help older community members understand what support might best suit their needs.

Meanwhile, our presence at Fairfield, Cumberland, Port Macquarie, and Blacktown will place a special focus on Salvos Home Care. These events offer an ideal opportunity for people to learn more about how our home care services can help them stay independent, safe, and supported in their own homes.

Attending these events reflects the Salvos’ long‑standing commitment to being present in local communities—meeting people where they are, listening to their needs, and offering practical, compassionate support. We want older Australians to know that The Salvation Army is here to help at every stage of life, including the later years, when the right care can make an enormous difference.

We look forward to meeting community members across the state, answering questions, sharing our mission, and building meaningful connections that last well beyond each event.
