Aged Care Quality Standards Implementation Conferences

Over April, we held two internal Aged Care Quality Standards Implementation Conferences! The purpose of these conferences was to engage with and equip our front line staff with the tools they need before 1 July 2019. On that date, the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission will expect all organisations providing aged care services in Australia to be compliant with the new Aged Care Quality Standards.

These new standards clearly define good care. it's about caring for each person's individual needs while they are in our care. There are eight standards, and each one is about an aspect of care that contributes to safety, health, and wellbeing.
